Where does the Koran come from ?
The Qur’an is the word of the Most High Allah the Creator, revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) whose reading is considered a worshiping act.
This definition includes (all necessary elements) and excludes (all that is superfluous).
The expression “the word of Allah” excludes human speech and any other non-divine word.
The expression “revealed to His Prophet Muhammad” excludes what has been revealed to others, such as the Gospels, the Torah and the psalms (of David).
The phrase “whose reading is considered a religious act” excludes the hadith of divine origin.
The Koran is a light, a certainty; He is the solid rope, the way of the pious. It contains the information of the elders: the prophets and the pious and it explains how those who had opposed them suffered divine punishment and were the most humiliated. The Quran still includes verses that tell of the miracles of Allah and speak of His power that is exercised over this immense universe. It explains the origin of the human being created from a small liquid. It contains the provisions concerning the faith which must animate the heart to appease it. It contains the provisions of the Shari’ah which distinguish what is lawful from what is unlawful and what is true and what is false.
The Qur’an explains the afterlife, human destiny and describes hell where some will be lodged miserably and paradise dotted with gardens crossed by streams and fields and endowed with safe residences.
The Quran brings a remedy to hearts and light to the blind.
Allah Most High says:
«True believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, who afterward do not doubt and struggle with their goods and people in the way of Allah. These are the truthful. » (Quran, Sura 49, Al-Hujurat, (the apartments), verse 15).
The Noble Koran is divided into chapters called surats, numbering 114 and beginning with the first called Al-Fatiha (sometimes translated as “the opening” or “the opening”). These suras are themselves composed of verses named âyât (plural of Arabic âyah, “proof”, “sign”, and which are found in particular in the word ayatollah). The verses have a canonical number of 6,236
