The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Those who have the greatest reward for their prayers are those who live far from the mosque, Long walk to get there, and the one who is waiting to fulfill the prayer with the Imam will get more reward than the one who does it alone and then go to bed. ”
According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Daytime angels and other nocturnes follow one another among you. Those who have spent the night among you go up to the Lord, and God, although He knows better than them, then asks them: “How did you leave My worshipers?” – “We left them praying,” they will reply, “and we found them praying.”
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The poor of the Emigres went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said to him: “People who are wealthy will take advantage of the Higher elevations of Paradise and its eternal felicities “. – “How that,” replied the Prophet. – “They pray and fast as we do, and, moreover, they have the privilege of giving alms and freeing the slaves.” “Well,” replied the Prophet, “do not I teach you a thing which, if you practice it, you will join those who seem to have gotten ahead of you and will go beyond” In merits) those who will come after you, and no one will be better than you, except those who will do as you do. ” – “If, O Messenger of God”, they said – “A l’issue de chaque prière, glorifiez Dieu, célébrez Sa grandeur et faites Sa louange trente-trois fois”.
According to Ibn ‘Umar, the Messenger of Allah :
« Islam is built on five pillars or bonds: Shahada (or profession of faith) attesting that there is no divinity except God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God; The practice of prayer; The payment of zakat (obligatory tithe); The pilgrimage and fasting of Ramadan. »
